Today I was tired.

The sort of tired that won't be remedied by a mere nap. The sort of tired that goes so deep into your soul you can't even see where it begins. I felt dead, not dead but numb...completely numb and empty.

Lucky for me that emptiness was filled. And by what you might ask? None other than my very own family. I got home from my sucky day at work to my dad saying, "Mom's late and we need food" so I began to cook hamburger helper and my dad starts to help with the salad and then my brother comes in and helps... So real quick, my brother, he is quite a character. If you knew him you would love him. He is twelve with a birthday on the 20th and he is the biggest 12 year old around with the greatest sense of humor, real clever. Of course sometimes it's retarded (on account that he is only 12) but he truly brightens my day. Anyway back to the story.. before you know it we're goofing off having a food fight and wrestling around. It was great.

I love my family! I really do. They are my greatest blessing.

My father once told me, "There are only two things you can depend on in this world, your faith and you family." My father is a wise man.
